 Our service is automatically triggered once there is an accumulation of 5 cm (2 inches) or more. We monitor weather reports 24/7 to ensure your property is serviced as soon as the threshold is met. 

 Yes! Unlike many other companies, salting is included in our plans. We apply high-quality melting products to your driveway to help prevent ice build-up and keep the surface as safe as possible after clearing the snow. 

 We clear the windrow ONLY if it is present during our scheduled visit. If the city plow passes and creates a ridge after we have already finished your driveway and departed, we can return to clear it for an additional service fee based on your subscription plan. 

 Yes! Our standard snow removal plans include clearing the front porch and the main walkway leading to your front door. This ensures you have a safe path to enter and exit your home after a storm. 

  Basement walkouts are not included in the standard plans and require an additional service fee. Because every basement entrance is different, the price depends on the number of stairs, the size of the landing, and the distance we have to carry the snow to clear the area safely. Please contact us for a specific quote for your basement walkout. 

  No. Our standard service consists of clearing the snow from your driveway and walkways and piling it neatly on your own property, usually on the lawn or designated snow storage areas. We always do our best to stack the snow efficiently to save space. However, "Snow Hauling" (physically removing snow from the property by truck) is a separate, specialized service and is not included in our standard plans. If you have limited space and require snow to be hauled away, please contact us for a custom quote, as this involves heavy machinery and city disposal fees. 

 We aim to service all residential properties as quickly as possible. During a typical storm, we start our routes early so you can get to work. However, exact times depend on when the snow starts and the severity of the storm. 

  For the best results and safety, please move your vehicles before we arrive. If a car is left in the driveway, we will clear around it as safely as possible, but we are not responsible for snow left under or directly beside the vehicle. 

   Yes, we install reflective snow stakes to mark the edges of your driveway. This protects your lawn and our equipment. Please do not remove these until the end of the season (April 1th).

While we provide professional snow clearing and include salting to help manage ice build-up, it is physically impossible to guarantee a surface 100% free of ice at all times. Rapid temperature drops, "black ice" events, and freezing rain can create hazardous conditions instantly between our scheduled visits.

By hiring our services, the property owner acknowledges that:

1. Our service is a risk-reduction effort, not an absolute guarantee of safety.
2. The property owner remains responsible for monitoring the premises and exercising caution between our visits.
3. We are not responsible for ice that forms due to melting snow piles or faulty gutters (e.g., water dripping and re-freezing).

 Yes. While we include salting during our visits, weather conditions in Ontario can change in minutes. Homeowners are advised to apply additional salt at their own discretion between our scheduled visits if they notice ice forming due to temperature drops or freezing rain. Maintaining a safe environment remains the property owner's responsibility. 

  No.Scoo Doo BYRUI is not responsible for cracks or damage to driveways, concrete, curbs, gutters, or grass.Because we use professional snowblowers and hand shovels—and NOT heavy snow plows—the risk of damage is minimal. However, winter conditions (freeze/thaw cycles) naturally cause wear and tear on surfaces. We also install reflective stakes to mark your lawn; we are not responsible for any damage if these stakes are moved or if the lawn is affected by the weight of the snow piles. 

   During extreme weather events where authorities advise staying off the roads, our service may be delayed for the safety of our crew. We will resume service as soon as it is safe to operate. 

  Yes, absolutely.Fully insured with a $2 Million General Liability Insurance policy. This covers our snow removal, lawn care, and pet waste and other services. We believe in providing our customers with total peace of mind, ensuring that both your property and our team are protected at all times.
